ChenWeigen,Chairman of Genertec, Visited Uzbekistan

From July 13th to 22nd, 2005, Chen Weigen, Chairman of Genertec, as one of the representatives of Chinese entrepreneurs in a government delegation led by Vice Prime Minister Wu Yi, visited Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, and conducted series of important commercial activities. Visits to four mid-Asian countries by the government delegation led by Vice Prime Minister Wu Yi are important diplomatic and economic and commercial activities of Chinese government. During Chen’s visit to Uzbekistan, he attended relevant meetings organized for the government delegation and delivered a speech during “China-Uzbekistan Senior Forum of Economic and Trade Co-operation”, representing Chinese enterprises.

On July 20th, Chen attended the welcome party organized by the Economic and Commercial Section of Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan, and officially opened the Mid-Asian Representative Office of Genertec. More than 40 people from Chinese and Uzbekistanis government and industrial and commercial sector attended the party and opening ceremony. Chen and Zhang Di, Commercial Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan delivered speeches in the party.
