Chairman of Genertec Chen Weigen Paid a formal Call on Indonesian Vice President

In the morning of August 15, 2005, Chen Weigen, Chairman of Genertec led members of the visiting delegation to Indonesia to pay a formal call on Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla. President of Indonesian Chinese Economic and Cultural Association, Special Advisor and Economic Advisor to Indonesian Vice President, and Tang Yi President of China Machinery Import and Export (Group) Co. attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Chen introduced the general profile, history, business scope and fields of Genertec. Chen also expressed that Genertec’s subsidiaries such as CMC, CNTIC have great interest on Indonesia’s various large industrial projects such as coal projects, power station projects and railway transformation projects and will actively participate into them and cooperate effectively with local partners.

Vice President Jusuf Kalla said that currently Indonesia has good relation with China and bilateral trade develops rapidly. Indonesian President Susilo and China’s President Hu Jintao have set the USD 2000 billion bilateral trade volume strategic target. And Indonesia’s current railway construction is an important field.
