Executives of Genertec Met with Minister of Water and Housing of Jamaica and Attended Signing Ceremony for Cooperation Agreement

In the morning of August 12, 2005, Xu Mingyang, Vice President of Genertec and Wang Jiajie, Genertec’s Chief advisor on Legal Affairs met with visiting Jamaican Minsiter of Water and Housing Buchanan and his delegation at Genertec Plaza.

Xu extended warm welcome to the Minister and the delegation and introduced the general profile of Genertec. Xu also introduced some basic information about China’s government favorable loan. Mr. Buchanan expressed his gratitude for Genertec’s hospitality and kind treatment, and agreed upon the intention of further cooperation. He also introduced the potential of Jamaican market and the possibility of cooperation with Chinese side.

After the meeting, Xu and Wang were invited to attend the signing ceremony for Cooperation Agreement between Genertec and the Ministry of Water and Housing of Jamaica. Ma Zhiwu, President of China National Corporation for Overseas Economic Cooperation (CCOEC), Jiang Xin, Vice President of CCOEC and Jamaican Minister of Water and Housing Buchanan signed the agreement and determined the bilateral cooperative relationship and the content of cooperation.
