Genertec£§s Vice General Manager Song Met with Foreign Specialists of National Friendship Reward Winners of Chongqing Automobile Research Institute
On September 27th, Song Ning, Vice General Manager of Genertec met and had dinner with Norwegian specialists Mr. Jan Wolter Post and his wife. Following the winning of Three Gorges Friendship Reward from Chongqing Municipality in 2005, they won the National Friendship Reward from the Central Government in 2006. This is the highest honor Chinese government gives to foreign specialists who have made outstanding contributions in China£§s modernization process. In 2006, 49 foreign specialists from 19 nations were given this reward. China£§s National Leaders conferred the rewards in the People£§s Conference Hall.
Mr. Jan Wolter Post was hired by Chongqing Automobile Research Institute £¨CARI£İin 2005. As a full time foreign specialist of CARI, he engages in the design and development of automobile and engine control system, the development of substitute fuel automobile and engine calibration, and development of engine emission control and EMS control software. Before coming to China, he worked for Holland£§s Application Science Research Institute which is one of the world leading organizations in gas automobile technology research. After joining CARI, he helped CARI establishing cooperation relationships with several international research and development organizations, and introducing advanced technologies and R & D processes such as Holland£§s light automobile dual fuels electro-controlling system, making great contributions to CARI in technology absorption and renovation and enhancing CARI£§s influence and competitiveness in relevant technology areas both in domestic and world markets.
