He Tongxin Led an Investigation to CCARI

On Sept., 9th, 2007, He Tongxin, the Chairman of Genertec, and Song Ning, Vice-General Manager of Genertec, leading a 6-member team, had an investigation trip to Chongqing Automobile Research Institute (CCARI) . Heads from the General Office, Department of Corporate Development and Department of Finance accompanied the trip.

Ren Xiaochang, the Director of CCARI, delivered an elaborate report to the team on the development situation of CCARI and information of key tasks planned for 2007 and the 11th Five-Year Plan. Zhou Xueben, Secretary of CPC Committee of CCARI, Li Kaiguo, Deputy Director of CCARI, Xie Yuehong, Deputy Derector of CCARI, and Tan Gonglian, Assistant Director of CCARI, attended the report session.

He Tongxin and his team watched CCARI’s promotional video named Wings of Dream, to have more knowledge on the development history, R & D and testing capabilities and potentials. During Ren’s report, He Tongxin appraised highly of CCARI’s performance in various areas, and put forward some guidelines and requests on CCARI’s strategic positioning, R & D, and reform.
