Huan Daily and Xiaoxiang Morning News Reported on He Tongxin’s Attendance of the Signing Ceremony for Purchase of the Largest Locomotive in China

In the morning of Aug., 18th, a purchase agreement was signed between the Ministry of Railway and CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd at Huatian Hotel in Changsha for 1200 6-shaft large power alternating-current transmission locomotives with total value of RMB30 billion. Purchase contract for 500 locomotives in the agreement was also signed. This is the biggest locomotive purchase project in the history of railway in China. Liu Zhijun, the Minister of Railway, Zhang Chunxian, Secretary of CPC Hunan Committee and Director of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Hunan Province, Zhou Qiang, Deputy Secretary of CPC Hunan Committee and Vice-governor of Hunan Province, He Tongxin, the Chairman of Genertec and Guo Lailang, Vice-governor of Hunan Province, attended the signing ceremony.
