General Manager of Genertec Li Dang Visited CNTIC’s Electric Power Plant Project in Indonesia

On February 19th, 2008, Li Dang , General Manager of Genertec, accompanied by Fang Qiucheng, Chinese Minister-counselor to Indonesia, and Jiang Xinsheng, President of China National Technical Import and Export Corporation (CNTIC), visited CNTIC’s power plant project site in Indonesia. Relevant personnel of the General Office and Department of Strategic Development of Genertec also accompanied the trip. Li listened attentively to report by CNTIC and North-west Electric Power Construction Group on the on-going progress of the project, praised the diligent team for its hard efforts made, and conveyed greetings and appreciation of He Tongxin, Chairman of Genertec to all people working on the site. Li pointed out, this is the first 600 KW power plant project undertaken by a Chinese company, and Genertec and its subsidiary CNTIC attach great importance to it. All engineering participants should, under the leadership of Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, report and ask for guidance timely and frequently to win the full support from various departments form the governments; All feasible measures should be applied to guarantee the construction schedule and engineering quality; The participants should take the chance of learning, exchange views and ideas freely, have more efforts on team building, ensure the safety and take care of the team life. Li also expressed that Genertec will give full support to CNTIC for this power plant project, and hoped that CNTIC can take this “brand” building project, to further develop this market and grad more business opportunities on the one hand, and at the same time reinforce the building of abilities and cultivate an excellent team to exert its great impact in the process of adjusting and innovate our business in the fields of foreign trade and engineering contract on the other hand.

Li also paid a visit to Lan Lijun, Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia, and had in-depth exchange and discussion on development of Indonesia, especially on Sino-Indonesian cooperation and development in the filed of energy and power.
