CAERI Gas-fuel Automobile Engineering Center Opened to the Public

May 17th to 23rd, 2008 is the Science and Technology Activity Week of Chongqing. The theme of the Week is: Promoting the Scientific Awareness of the People, Sticking together to Construct the City of a New Model. According to the overall plan of the Commission of Science of Chongqing Municipality, three public technology service platforms of China Automobile Engineering and Research Institute (CAERI) in Chonqing, namely, Gas-fuel Automobile Engineering Center, Automobile NVH Engineering Technology Research Center, and Vehicle Emission and Energy-saving Laboratory (one of the Key Labs of Chongqing Municipality) opened to the public for visit on May 18th.

46 people including technicians from Chongqing Jinshan Science and Technology Inc and Chongqing Jinhuowang Bio-liquid Fuel Research Institute, students and teachers in the relevant majors, people with relevant interests, and journalist, took part in the open activities on that day.

Visitors watched the introduction video of CAERI firstly, listened to the introduction about the Key Labs of Chongqing Municipality, had a meeting with relevant specialists, and then visited labs and some research results.
