Chairman He Met with Mr. Junichi Yoshii, President of Tsumura & Co

In the afternoon of June 11th, 2008, He Tongxin, Chairman of Genertec, and Han Benyi, Vice President of Genertec, met with Mr. Junichi Yoshii, President of Tsumura & Co. at Genertec Plaza. The two sides held friendly discussions. Heads of the General Office of Genertec, the Department of Strategic Development of Genertec, and China Meheco Corporation, participated in the meeting.

Chairman He extended sincere welcome to Mr. Junichi Yoshii and his delegation. He introduced Genertec’s strategy of transformation and upgrading. The pharmaceutical unit is one of the four pillar units of Genertec, which will be financed and developed in a rolling style under Genertec’s transformation and upgrading strategy. Taking about cooperation, He said, we should do well today, and think well about the future, and be friends forever. He made two suggestions: the first one is reinforce and strengthen trade cooperation, focusing on building up key product bases with mid and long term development strategic cooperation in mind; the second is to proactively study and research on the possibility of cooperation in investment, joint-research and manufacturing, especially on cooperation areas and projects. He also expressed thanks and respects to Tsumura & Co. for its donation of RMB 1.5million and RMB 2.4 million from its 2700 employees to the earth-stricken area in Sichuan via China Red Cross Society.

Mr. Junichi Yoshii thanked He for his hospitality and agreed with He’s suggestions; he also expressed willingness to strengthen cooperation relationship with China Meheco Corporation, and to broaden the cooperation areas.
