| Established in 1955, China National Instruments Import & Export
(Group) Corporation, ( Instrimpex, the formerly China National Instruments
Import & Export Corporation), started its business in 1950. It
is one of the first specialized foreign trade corporations engaged
in the import and export business in China. During the past four decades, Instrimpex has imported large quantities of advance equipment, production lines and technologies in many fields for China. These imports include the first air traffic control system, the first submarine cable, the first one-million voltage extra-high-tension power transmission and transformation equipment, the largest color television center equipment, the largest seismic data processing system and the largest computer system for customs administration in China. Through the unremitting efforts by several generations of Instrimpex people, the corporation has grown into a comprehensive foreign trade enterprise with powerful strength, which focuses on import, export and technical services. Instrimpex is the very first specialized foreign trade corporation to have co-operated with foreign companies in providing after-sale services for the imported products. At present, Instrimpex has set up 119 technical service stations, spare parts consignment depots and bonded centers in various provinces and cities in China staffed with a contingent of nearly 1000 highly skilled professional technicians who are able to provide excellent services. At present, the corporation has formed a unique service system network combining repair &maintenance, training, technical exchanges, product prohibition, spare parts and components consignment and system integration. The brand name of INSTEC Instrimpex, is unique in China's foreign economic and trade sector. Following the strategic deployment of Genertec, Instrimpex will base itself in the field of service trade. It takes the trade and technical service of electronics, IT, instrument, household electric products and software products as its major business.
